Garry’s Mod 10

January 19, 2009

Garry’s Mod 10: Possibly one of the best sandbox style games I have ever played. In a sandbox game, you can do anything you want; Garry’s mod uses the Source Physics Engine to simulate all the realistic, and unrealistic, effects. This is the same one used by other Source- powered games such as Half Life 2, Team Fortress 2, Portal, and Counter Strike 2. This is a really fun game and I really love it. I posted some screenshots here.
It is $10 on Steam and you need to have at least one Source-powered game to use it.

Right now, I’m writing this review from the comfort of my iPod touch using the WordPress Application. It is very useful for writing posts when I’m away from my computer. Other than writing posts, however, it is somewhat lacking. It currently does not allow for modifying the user account or themes. On the other hand, in the area of writing simple, non-formatted posts, it excels. I can write posts even when I am not connected to the Internet because of the feature that allows you to save a post to the iPod or iPhone and publish it when you have Internet access. You can also add pictures taken with the iPhone’s camera and photos from your library to the post. Another plus is that it allows you to preview the post before you publish it. All in all, I give it a 4 out of 5 for being better than the mobile web interface and for the great features it does offer.

First Post!

This is my first post. I’m currently writing this from my iPod touch. I think this is pretty cool.
